About us and what we teach

Welcome Stock Market Beginners, we are so glad that you can join us on your quest to learning more about how the stock market works and learning about stock market basics.

We started our trading journey about 8 years ago. Our first trade was a demo trade and we know nothing about the stock market. Well, when we say we knew nothing, we actually mean that we didn’t know what technical analysis was, we didn’t know what candlestick chart patterns were, we were just mucking around on the internet with the little knowledge we had acquired through high school text books.

We knew that people were making lots of money buying and selling shares, however, we had the foggiest idea where to start. We however, knew that we had caught the bug. As all of you know who have caught the trading bug, it’s a virus you cannot give up. Even after thousands of dollars lost and many sleepless nights you carry on, digging, searching for the Holy Grail that will help you make money in the stock market.

It was after 3 years of buying stock market trading programs, attending seminars, reading books and listening to tapes, that we realized that the search for a holy grail is futile. After graduating college we decided that our career paths would lead us to full time trading.

We were fortunate that we graduated from top universities with stellar grades so it made it easier for us to land professional trading jobs for some of the top hedge funds on Wall Street. This was where our trading careers took off and this is how we got to where we are now.

The reason we have created this website is that when we had first caught the bug, there was very little knowledge and information about the basics. We had to find this piece of information from that book and another piece of information from another source. It made the process extremely difficult. Our aim for this website is to make the process a lot easier for you. You will have access to all the stock market basics from one source.

We are also very grateful to all our teachers who guided us on the path to mastery. We credit Oliver Velez and Dan Mielcarski at ifundtraders for their education.

If you are an aspiring trader or stock market investor, you first need to understand what a long is. You need to understand how to sell short. You need to understand how you can use the QQQQ’s and the SPY to gauge the broader markets strength or weakness. These are all stock market trading basics. Yes, everyone is selling you this program and that methodology; however, when you don’t understand the fundamental factors that influence the stock market, all those programs are a waste of time. Actually they are a waste of money.

Our website focuses on the basic elements that will help you understand the stock market. Then when you as an investor are ready, you can then build upon the basics to construct your own trading system. Chasing the Holy Grail is a futile endeavor. It never works. We suggest that you learn stock market basics, thoroughly understand how the stock market works and then build your own trading plan.
